College of DuPage 2013 China Trip

In less than a week I'm setting out on a wonderful adventure! I'm no longer a college student but this study abroad opportunity was brought to me by my Aunt Dede! She teaches at the College of DuPage. I love traveling, especially internationally so I jumped at the chance to go to CHINA! I will be traveling with my Uncle Tom, Aunt Dede, and cousin James as well as 14 other traveling enthusiasts including Tom and Dede's friends Bill and Carol, their daughter Kate, and their English friend/doctor Jan and her sister. Over the course of my trip I will travel more than 24,000 miles, take five plane flights, one train ride, many bus rides, a few boat tours, and a cable car ride to the top of a mountain! I'm super excited to share this awesome experience with my friends and family. I'm not sure that I will be able to blog while I'm in China because of their internet restrictions, thank you Chinese government, but I will blog as long as I am able!
